Every television season there’s a massive deluge of new TV shows, and they’re not all going to be around forever. Most of the TV shows that are introduced are so bad that they barely even make it past their first season – not everybody can be The X-Files. Some of the worst new TV shows to hit the airwaves have huge casts of characters that it’s almost impossible to keep track of. Some of them are about crooked cops, while others are about superheroes that you’ve never heard of, but the one thing they have in common is that they’re all bad new TV shows. Keep reading to start voting up the new TV shows that should be canceled.
Sometimes it can be hard to pinpoint the new TV shows that won't make it. Some programs that look like the dumbest thing on Earth manage to become fan favorites while smart, cool shows get canceled after one season. Some actors, like Rob Lowe and John Stamos have managed to put themselves in as many shows as possible as a means to hedge their bets and stay on television for another year, while some actors align themselves with mega producers like Martin Scorsese to try to stay on the air as long as possible.
Vote up the new TV shows in 2016-2017 that should be canceled, and feel free to add any shows that have had fewer than two seasons that you think have already been on the air for too long.
