Dolly Parton is one of the biggest stars in country music, and now she has not one, but two Guinness World Records to back it up. The 71-year-old icon was recently honored for holding the records for the most hits on Billboard's Hot Country Songs chart by a female and the most decades with a Top 20 hit on that same chart - an achievement that she joked made her "feel about 100."
"To receive these two Guinness World Records is so great. Joining so many wonderful singers and songwriters who have been honored this way feels so special to me," Dolly said when she was presented with her record title certificates in the video above. "You never know when you start out with your work how it's going to turn out, but to have these two world records makes me feel very humbled and blessed!"
In addition to earning two spots in this year's Guinness World Records, Dolly also holds several hall of fame honors, including in the Country Music Hall of Fame, Grammy Hall of Fame, and Songwriters Hall of Fame. Some of her biggest hits include "Jolene," "Dumb Blonde," "Coat of Many Colors," and "I Will Always Love You." Congrats Dolly!
