The Golden Globes celebrated the achievements of some of Hollywood's biggest stars in film and TV on Sunday night, but the biggest winner of all was female empowerment. In addition to almost all of the actresses wearing black in solidarity of the Time's Up movement, which calls for action to end sexual harassment and gender inequality, Natalie Portman used her time on stage to call out Hollywood for another problem: not recognizing enough female directors. While presenting the award for best director with Ron Howard, the actress loudly said, "And here are the all-male nominees." The move was small, but huge for the bigger picture. Watch the amazing moment above, which ended with Guillermo del Toro winning for The Shape of Water.
